We came up with a concept, acquired equipment, scouted for locations, started shooting, amassed hours of footage, trawled through and edited the best parts, colour corrected, exported, and uploaded, and then as they say in the industry, it was finally a wrap!
After 4 months of production, Carbon/Silicon’s video accompaniment to their next single “Big Surprise” is ready. Many thanks to Mick & Tony for their cameo, and for the support of the British public… If it weren’t for you and your willingness to be silly in front of camera, none of this would be possible.
We invaded your lives, homes, places of work, and hoped you had as much fun celebrating life as the song suggests. Biggest applause to Carolinda for the beautifully illustrated boards which helped connect participants and the viewer to such a positive message.
Myself, Sebastian Pacher & Oleg Tolstoy have set up the O.P.S Collective to showcase this video and future projects, and hope you will join us in supporting Carbon/Silicon and all of those involved in this project.

On a side note: employers in Oz want a simple and hard hitting resume, so use bullet points and keep it to one page - with as little fat as possible.
After the interview process, I’ve now got the job, I’m stationed in Fremantle and making the most of the beautiful weather. I alternate between BBM Live and Go West Magazine. The former is a British lifestyle brand for young professionals working and travelling Oz, whilst the latter is the most widely distrubuted budget guide to WA.
Other than the marketing campaigns I’ll be running throughout the year, please also watch this space for upcoming issues & some of my own creative writing!
So to cut a long story short, I got the job and worked for Zen Marketing / Cornucopia Fundraising for 6 weeks. We went from Darwin to Perth, and all the wacky places in-between. Highlights of the trip were Karratha’s wildlife / nightlife, snorkeling the Ningaloo Reef, celebrating my 25th birthday in Geraldton, WA, and making great friends along the way. Thanks to our managers Duncan & Mel for a such a great experience, look forward to teaming up with everyone again!
